Investor Information
Atherion is building the first AI tool purpose-built for mechanical engineering component generation. We're early, honest about where we are, and moving fast.
Mechanical engineering is one of the largest and oldest engineering disciplines in the world. Yet it remains almost entirely untouched by the AI revolution that has transformed software, writing, and research.
Engineers still manually design standard components — gears, bolts, brackets, shafts — that follow well-known standards and specifications. This is repetitive, time-consuming work that costs companies real money every day.
MecAI is the first product to directly address this with AI. We're not building a general-purpose AI assistant. We're building the specific tool that mechanical engineers have always needed.
01
No AI product today is built specifically for mechanical component generation. The space is wide open.
02
Every hour saved on standard component design is a direct cost reduction for engineering teams. The ROI is immediate and measurable.
03
Students (free tier, high volume, future professionals) and companies (paid tier, direct ROI). Both reinforce each other.
04
V1 handles individual components. V2 adds assemblies. V3 adds simulation. Each version deepens the moat.
We'll be honest — we're at the beginning. But the foundation is real and the direction is clear.
Anrit Bhatt (Founder & CEO) — Indian-German. Design background with hands-on experience across three pharmaceutical manufacturing internships: a company specialising in industrial mixing and tank equipment in Germany; a Mumbai-based company in India delivering pharma turnkey projects with operations extending into East Africa through a sister company; and a pharmaceutical medicine manufacturing company in Kenya — with the Indian and Kenyan operations being connected. Across three countries and three corners of pharma manufacturing, he saw the same problem repeated: engineers burning hours on component design work that should be automated.
Ruthu Krishnan (Co-Founder & CTO) — Computer Science (AI/ML) at SRM University, Kattankulathur. Advanced coursework at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in Applied Machine Learning with Generative AI, Big Data Analytics, and Deep Learning. The technical backbone of MecAI's AI systems.
