We're early stage and we know you have questions. Here's everything we can tell you right now — no fluff.
About MecAI
What exactly does MecAI generate?
MecAI generates individual mechanical components from a text description — gears, bolts, shafts, brackets, flanges and more. You describe the spec, MecAI generates the component. Full assembly generation is on the roadmap for V2.
How accurate are the components it generates?
Every component is grounded in real engineering standards — not just visual approximations. MecAI applies actual engineering mathematics, physics constraints, and material science to every generation.
What file formats will MecAI export to?
Export formats will be confirmed at beta launch. We're targeting standard CAD-compatible formats including STEP and STL.
Do I need CAD experience to use MecAI?
No. MecAI is designed to be accessible to engineering students and professionals alike. If you can describe what you need, MecAI can generate it.
Access & Pricing
When is the beta launching?
We're currently in development. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first to know — and the first to get access.
Will there be a free tier for students?
Yes. Student access is planned as a free tier from V1. We built MecAI partly for students and we're not going to put it behind a paywall for learners.
How do I get early access?
Join the waitlist on the homepage. We'll reach out personally when beta opens.
Technical
What engineering standards does MecAI follow?
MecAI is being built to support internationally recognised standards including ISO and ANSI. Specific standard support will be confirmed at beta launch.
Will MecAI support full assembly generation?
Yes — that's V2. Version 1 focuses on individual components done well. Assemblies come next.
Can companies integrate MecAI into their existing workflow?
API access for enterprise integration is on the roadmap. If you're a company interested in early integration, reach out at anrit.bhatt@atherion.co.

Where is Atherion based?
Atherion is founded in India, with the founding team spanning India and Germany.
Who is behind Atherion?
Atherion was founded by Anrit Bhatt and Ruthu Krishnan — two engineers who saw the same design inefficiency repeated across industries and decided to fix it. Read their full story →
